Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to spread awareness about Corona
PM Modi asked BJP MPs to spread awareness about corona virus among the people. Apart from this, people were also informed about the steps being taken by the government to deal with the disease.
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked all BJP MPs to visit their respective constituencies over the weekend and spread awareness among the people about the corona virus. Apart from this, he also informed about the steps being taken by the government to deal with the disease. Expressing his views during the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentary party in the Parliament complex, the Prime Minister said that if doctors, media and staff posted at airports, railway stations, and other places can play their role in an excellent manner MPs will also have to do this work.
Modi also gave a message that people should not panic and take precautionary measures to avoid the coronavirus epidemic. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi quoted the Prime Minister as saying, “The Prime Minister has urged MPs to visit their constituencies in small groups on Saturday and Sunday and to make people aware of coronavirus disease. Advised people to be aware of measures that would help protect them from coronavirus infection.”
The Prime Minister also suggested to the MPs to hold press conferences and public meetings in this regard and inform the people about the government steps being taken to tackle the deadly disease. The government has decided to suspend all visas by 15 April after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared corona an epidemic. Several steps are being taken by the government to stop the virus.
Senior BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that in the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the morale increases of doctors, nurses, municipal personnel, airport personnel, CISF and people engaged in the advance front by bringing forth the work done in the context of Corona virus. According to Rudy, Modi said that in such a situation, we should also congratulate various people outlining different dimensions of combating Covid-19.
Rudy said that in the meeting, the Prime Minister asked the party MPs to work to spread awareness about the corona virus when they visit their area on Saturday and Sunday. He quoted the Prime Minister as saying that the media has done very positively to carry forward this campaign.
