India’s major action against China, 118 mobile apps including PUBG banned in India.
Again, the Government of India has took a big decision. The central government has decided to ban 118 Mobile Apps including PUBG. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has decided to ban all these mobile apps under Section 69A.
What Ministry Said
The ministry has taken this decision to ban after receiving many complaints. The statement issued by the ministry said that these apps were a threat to national security.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, these mobile apps were a threat to India’s sovereignty, integrity, defense of India, the security of the state, and public order. According to Ministry, many such complaints were received in which it was said that there are many such mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms that steal users’ information.p
The ministry said that these applications are sending information outside India by stealing information and data of users. These applications are stealing users’ data and making it illegal to reach their servers located outside India. Theft of these data is a threat to India’s integrity, sovereignty and security. The government said that data theft is a matter of concern and emergency steps need to be taken for this.
Ticktock and PUBG banned in India
Let me tell you that the Indian government had earlier banned many applications of China including Tick-Tock. At the end of June, India banned 59 Mobile App of China including Tick-Tock, Hello. Later, in late July, 47 more Chinese App was banned.
This time the central government, apart from PUBG, Livik, Wechat work and Wechat reading, App lock, Carrom friends.
